Tell me about stain removal. Are some stains really permanent? How do I know whether or not there might be some other stain remover that will work when all else have failed?
There are no "miracle" potions out there that solve every type of stain. There is however, a good foundation of knowledge available that makes methodological and professional stain removal a process of simple logic. Yes, some stains are unfortunately permanent (although if they weren't, we'd have a one-colored world, all brown, because colored fabric dyes wouldn't even hold!). Our company guarantees that any stain we can not safely remove cannot be removed by anyone else by any method. The way to know if a particular stain on a carpet is permanent involves; 1) an understanding of the individual properties of each of the five basic fiber types listed above (in upholstery fabrics there are essentially twelve different fiber types), 2) a working knowledge and understanding of cleaning chemistry using the seven basic categories of cleaning agents that account for every type of fabric cleaning agent there is in existence throughout the world and 3) how these same agents react with specific types of soils and each of the five carpet fiber types. If all carpet cleaners followed these three guidelines, or knew how to, they couldn't fail to become experts over time. So why don't they? That's a question I don't have the answer to.....
